โ I don't feel the office staff really understands what our true day to day is. A majority of the office staff has never taken care of someone's family member, let alone their own grandparents. They have never experienced the pressure we feel from our manager, schedulers, care coordinators, our clients, and ourselves. There is a huge disconnect between the people in the office coordinating care and the actual caregivers administering care.โ
A majority of caregivers' work life consists of caring for their loved ones at home & caring for their clients in their home. They are not integrated with the day to day of their peers or office staff.
