Facebook Jobs Went Away? Part 2

Facebook is changing its jobs feature. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐!

We didn't cover this last time: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬' 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬?🤔

Prior to Facebook’s update, applicants were able to go on the marketplace and search for current job openings around their location.

From my experience, Facebook jobs marketplace resulted in low-quality applicants.

Make sure to watch part 1 on our Facebook page if you want to know more about why Facebook did this as a strategic move.

So again, you’re probably wondering how applicants see job openings from your business after this update? 🤔

𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝟒 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬. 🔥🔥

𝟏.𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (Ex: “Business name just posted a new job paying $$ an hour”)📲

𝟐.𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝. (Paid advertising or non-paid which means they follow your business already)💻

𝟑. 𝐎𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐛. (They would need to land on your page to see your current job openings)

𝟒. 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 “𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐬” 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐩 & 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. (They would search for the job they are looking for inside Facebook)🔎

In conclusion, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝/𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞. This can be done by posting content that corresponds with your audience’s interests , building an applicant audience following on your business page, and speaking directly to your potential applicants through Facebook messenger and the comment section on content postings (𝐞.𝐠. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬, 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭’𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬).💙🔥
